- Steven Jay Weinberg
Steven Weinberg is a founding partner of the firm. Mr. Weinberg is a trial lawyer with seventeen years of litigation experience, all of which having been spent representing individuals injured and/or killed by the negligence of others. Mr. Weinberg has represented personal injury plaintiffs in a wide variety of litigation, including automobile and trucking litigation; products liability litigation; workplace injuries, including plant/refinery explosions and chemical releases; “bad faith” insurance litigation; and Jones Act and other maritime related litigation. Mr. Weinberg also has substantial experience representing victims of unlawful discrimination in the workplace, having successfully represented plaintiffs in a wide variety of Title VII and related employment claims. Mr. Weinberg has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts on behalf of clients. In addition to litigating cases in and around Harris County (e.g., Fort Bend County, Montgomery County, Brazos County, Galveston County), Mr. Weinberg has litigated cases in dozens of counties throughout the State of Texas.
Mr. Weinberg received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Houston in 1990 (cum laude), and his J.D. from South Texas School of Law in 1993. Mr. Weinberg is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston and American Bar Associations, and the Houston and Texas Young Lawyers Association.
